Editor’s Picks 11/27: Bulls Blow Big, Bears Big Blow

27 POINTS: The Bulls suffered perhaps their worst loss of the Tom Thibodeau era Monday night, blowing a 27-point second half lead to the Milwaukee Bucks. At home. The loss dropped the Bulls to 6-7. If you’ve been preoccupied with the Bears or waiting for the Tao of Thibs to rescue the Derrick Rose-less and Bench Mob-less Bulls, it’s time to face facts: they’re not very good. From Milwaukee’s Drew Gooden after the game (Chicago Sun-Times):

“I think definitely,’’ Gooden said when asked if the plan was to jump on the Bulls early in the season before Rose comes back from his injured left ACL. “More than just Derrick Rose, the team they had last year — losing Omer [Asik], losing [Kyle] Korver, [Ronnie] Brewer, those guys. I think the makeup of the team as a whole is a little different.”
