Why are more European players coming to play in MLS?

“First of all, the MLS gets better and better every year. You can see the quality is getting better. I didn’t know the quality before I arrived. I thought that the pace was slow, but I was wrong about the pace and the quality. I like to play here. The point is that MLS is definitely very good. There are so many opportunities. I enjoy America, you can see so many cities and so I think combined with the play makes it very interesting for every player.”

It took you more than 70 games to get your first international goal. Which was harder scoring that first goal or losing your virginity?

“Scoring the first goal, I guess. It took me very long to score the goal, but it’s okay, I’m a defender. This question is really weird, but it was hard for me to score the goal, definitely. ”

If you were a monkey, would you be an alpha male gorilla or a tree-swinging lemur?

“I guess I would be a tree swinging lemur because it’s just more fun than just hanging out. It’s definitely more fun swinging in trees, so this would be my decision.”
