One of them is the junior U.S. Senator from Texas, leader of a new generation of conservative Republicans in Congress, the filibuster loving, self-proclaimed “wacko bird.” The other is the owner of the Chicago Cubs, a director of TD Ameritrade, leader of a new generation of Cubs management and a man testing his political muscle to bring renovation to Wrigley Field.
